Uncle Fester was brought to the Montana Raptor Center, Bozeman, MT, with two fractured bones in his wing that had set wrong. These fractures prevent him from extending his wing fully, so he is unable to fly the long distances to Central and South America needed for the annual migration of turkey vultures from the Northwest U.S. He found lifelong sanctuary here at YWS, where he enjoys spreading his wings in the sun.
