Scherbatsky was found on a car after a drive between Red Lodge and Billings in December. He was dehydrated and mildly frost-bit. A YWS keeper took him home to provide special care as he recovered and lost some limbs due to the frost bite. Growing them back it was deemed irresponsible to release him without knowing where he originated from. He has become part of our education team, with his own quarters in our education building.
