The Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and 509(a)(1) public charity. We are funded primarily by donations and grants. We are not affiliated with Yellowstone National Park and receive no funding from the U.S. National Park Service.

We are proud to have achieved the Candid (Guidestar) Platinum Seal of Transparency (the highest level awarded) and Charity Navigator’s 4-Star Rating due to our deep commitment to nonprofit transparency and accountability.
