Hot Cocoa & Wildlife – December 6 & 7

Join Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary for our first Hot Cocoa & Wildlife event! As you make your way into Red Lodge for the annual Christmas Stroll weekend, stop by Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary to get the festive fun started.
Along with our animals enjoying fun enrichment, we’ll have activities for the whole family and a special schedule with the educators at YWS!
At 11am and 1pm there will be a story time in the education building featuring “When Winter Comes,” an engaging story that explores what happens with our wildlife during the winter months.
Following story time, at 11:30am and 1:30pm, there will be a special animal encounter with our tiger salamanders, M&M and Scherbatsky. We’ll bring them to you and share more about their stories and what these native salamanders do in the winter.
It’s going to be a festive and fun day to kick off your holiday weekend!
