Upcoming Projects
At YWS we're always pushing forward to pursue our mission at the highest standard. Whether that involves improving facilities, constructing new habitats, or adding animal enrichment items, there's always something going on at the sanctuary. We love keeping everyone updated on our ongoing projects. They wouldn't be possible without your support!

Wolf Habitat Expansion

Sandhill Crane and Vulture Habitat

This year we'll be working on the construction an all-season enclosure with heated winter shelters for our migratory sandhill cranes and vultures. Fundraising is ongoing for this project and with your support we can build a fantastic new habitat!
We are enlarging our wolf habitat to expand capacity in order to house 3-4 non-releasable gray wolves. Moucha Fencing Inc. out of Cody, WY has made a generous donation towards fencing and has helped us get the ball rolling. We can't wait for the "YWS Wolf Pack"!
